June Lake Loop
Fall 2020 is right around the corner. Last year, I was in the June Lake area to shoot the fall colors. On the way there I stopped to visit Erick Schat's Bakery in Bishop, if in the area try their Apple Pullaway bread. This year, the plan is to take a couple of day trips along Utah's US Route 14 to find a mix of fall leaves and a river amongst the red rocks.
Bryce Canyon National Park Utah
While hiking the Rim Trail at Bryce Canyon, the trail allows great views of the amphitheaters and many points of interest in the Park. This is a panoramic view of Inspiration Point's colorful hoodoos.
Hanford CA
You see these huge trees along road and in-between fields in California's Central Valley. The trees represent boundary markers, which mark the end of one property and the beginning of another. I was visiting my parents in 2007 and as we were heading back after dinner in town. I pulled over at the corner of 14th and Elign Avenues and snapped some shots of the sunset backlit tree. In the next few years the tree was removed. When I'm in the area nowadays, I stop by the site to reminisce of what was.
